Pingar Delivers Two Apps in Newly Launched Microsoft Office Store Microsoft Word 2013 pt 7 (Table of Contents, Bibliography, Endnote, Index)

Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 23, 2012

From SPTechCon Boston 2012, Pingar today announced that two Pingar applications are now available in the new Microsoft Office Store: Pingar Summaries App for Word 2013 and Pingar Metadata Extraction App for SharePoint 2013. The apps, among the first third-party developed available which support Office 365, will help Word and SharePoint users to increase business productivity by making it easier to find documents and information within large information stores.

Pingar is exhibiting at SPTechCon Boston 2012 and will be demonstrating the apps at booth 606.

Peter Wren-Hilton, Pingar CEO, said the apps are an additional desktop tool to fight unstructured data.

?There has been much discussion about how big data and unstructured data is a challenge and an opportunity for business operations. To date, very few tools exist to help those individuals struggling on the frontline: the knowledge workers.?

?These two apps will help Microsoft Office users to reduce the amount of time wasted searching for information and focus on more important functions of their jobs,? Mr Wren-Hilton continued.

The Pingar Summaries App for Word will create an accurate and readable summary of Word documents in seconds. This summary can be created to share and include in the document itself, or to share with others externally?for example in an email or blog post. A document?s readability can be improved by letting readers know the most important information, and why they should read on.

The Pingar Metadata Extraction App for SharePoint takes the pain out of saving metadata for documents; ensuring readers can find the right document, in the right place, and at the right time. Applying consistent and comprehensive metadata for documents can be a time-consuming and cumbersome challenge that results in inconsistent data. Pingar?s Metadata Extraction App for SharePoint can identify keywords, addresses, people, dates, and more; making metadata consistent and improving the discoverability of important information.

Both of the above-mentioned Pingar applications leverage the capabilities and services of the Pingar API.
