Growth in Technical Staffing Placements Powers Record Revenue for Solomon Consulting Group 13. Curso de PROJECT 2013 (Tareas Independientes en fase y en cascada)

Overland Park, Kansas (PRWEB) December 19, 2013

As part of its entry for the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing companies in America, Solomon Consulting Group projected 2013 revenue of $ 2.5 million. Due to a growth in technical staffing referrals, returning clients and partnerships with IT and entrepreneurship groups, the Kansas City-based company is on pace to exceed this figure by the end of the year.

When Solomon CEO Grant Gordon founded Solomon in 2010, he didn?t want to create yet another technical staffing business built on transactions, which is how the placement market has been trending in the past decade. Instead, Gordon and his colleagues, including Director of Strategic Consulting Darci Crow and Vice President Karen Blue, developed a relationship-first approach with both companies and the technical staff who could potentially fill their vacancies. Gordon credits this people-focused approach for Solomon?s rapid growth in the past three years.

?Solomon is big on face time and really getting to know our corporate clients and the people we place with them,? Gordon said. ?For us, it?s never about how many placements we make, but rather about finding the right match for both sides.?

One of the main reasons in Solomon?s continued growth in 2013 is referrals. Gordon estimates that more than 50 percent of the company?s technical staffing placements are the result of a referral from a friend or former colleague.

?At least half of our new clients come from someone they know who we?ve helped find the right IT position,? Gordon said. ?We?re also seeing new recommendations come in each week on LinkedIn, which shows us that people we?ve placed value the way we treat them.?

Another factor contributing to Solomon?s record year is the company?s involvement in entrepreneurial events in Kansas City and elsewhere in Silicon Prairie, including KC Next (The Technology Council of Greater Kansas City) and Kansas City Women in Technology.

As part of these relationships, Solomon provides mentoring, career development services and thought leadership on HR- and IT-related topics. Solomon is also supporting grassroots growth in the IT industry by sponsoring the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at Shawnee Mission School District.
