Academy Inc. Reflects On an Amazing 2013 and Looks Ahead to 2014 Balloon Racer Project 2013
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 29, 2013
Academy Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high quality commercial awnings and canopies as well as beach and resort cabanas, is proud to announce 2013 as one of its most successful years in its history. The company completed projects for a myriad of diverse clients and built upon its already stellar client relationships.
One of the biggest (and most noticeable) projects of the year was customizing and installing brand new concession stand awnings at Dodgers Stadium. Academy Inc. was thrilled to have the chance to work on an iconic venue again right in its hometown of Los Angeles, and even more thrilled to show the world that it is capable of crafting awnings for such a large scale property. Furthermore, Academy Inc?s incredible design team had the opportunity to show off their creativity by implementing a unique graphic of South Korean superstar PSY doing his infamous Gangnam Style dance.
When it wasn?t knocking projects out of the park at Dodgers Stadium, Academy Inc. was roasting up sweet innovations for the beloved coffee powerhouse Starbucks. To consistently deliver a charming ambiance at its more than 20,000 storefronts, Starbucks heavily relies on exterior awnings. The java chain selected Academy Inc. to create several of its awnings, which the company was able to design, customize and brand to perfection.
Academy Inc. also provided a gorgeous awning for a chic new LA restaurant called Crossroads Kitchen. Located on Melrose Ave, this 3,000 square foot establishment offers delicious vegan/plant-based food with an emphasis on Mediterranean flavor and serves A-list celebrities such as actress Anne Hathaway.
Despite generating awnings for stadiums and food establishments, Academy Inc. also found time to give back with some heartwarming projects in 2013. For instance, it received an incredible opportunity to provide a customized awning for the Kids Cancer Connection Family House, which provides free, temporary housing for out-of-area families with children undergoing cancer treatment in the Los Angeles area. Academy Inc. also provided awnings for The Whittier, a new low-income apartment complex in Boyle Heights, CA set up by the Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF).
?This year was groundbreaking for our company,? said James Richman, CEO of Academy Inc. ?We tackled so many amazing projects that are near and dear to our hearts and built strong client relationships in diverse fields in the process. We plan to continue to deliver the highest quality products and services to our customers and have an even more successful year in 2014.?
