Surface RT vs Galaxy Note…that would be more fair
I don’t want windows on my mobile devices.
Windows 8.1 RT is much better than Android. Even with less apps. I have an
Galaxy Tab SM-T210 and web browsing is a nightmare.
Surface isn’t a tablet. It’s a lapto atleast surface 2 pro

Samsung always fails at the aesthetics of its UI. Surely they could do
something about that?
Yes the pro is a very nice tab/laptop but let’s face it still lacking in
apps and although this is meant more for the professional out there this
tablet cannot compete with the note because most people purchasing these
are about average everyday use.
use your laptop for heavy computing ventures use your samsung tablet(which
has office compatibility apps) for your more portable ventures.
I guess this what’s the future of computing we’ll be phablets expensive
tablets I will get my MacBook Air instead. Expensive surface pro almost the
same price of a MacBook just noticed that.

stopped listening when I heard samsung makes better software than microsoft.
Also, where is the comparison between the two regarding writing with the
respective styli? Isn’t that one of the main reasons people would choose
between these two?
I have heard Surface claim 7 hrs battery life,I have used it with wifi and
web browsing,3.5 hrs is all your getting as far as constant use,very
similar to most laptops.
Whats wrong with plastic btw ??? Everyone complain about plastic material
but none of you give a facts why is not good !
Only if Microsoft did a separate app store for the tablets -.-

I bought Note 10.1 2014 the other day because there were 100$ off and I
need a device to take notes for my school. Then, I found out Surface pro 2
is on sale on MS store for 150$ off. I was thinking about returning Note
and getting Surface Pro 2 instead…because after getting S-Pen holder, the
price different between the two devices would only be $100~ and I will get
a full blown computer. But after watching your video and reading comments
section, I realize what I need is device that I don’t have to go through
complexity of desktop…just dedicated for taking notes…something that I
can just open it up and scribble. I don’t have time nor patience to install
full blown programs on my note taking device anyway. I have laptop for
that. Thanks for the review!
battery power,battery power,battery power!!!if you want a tablet ofcourse
the main thing you will be interested in is poratbility and long battery
life to enable the portability,the surface just doesnt have it,if you are
looking for long functionality away from a power source go with
samsung,other than that you just have a tiny touchscreen laptop that will
require frequent charging with the surface.if the surface could give me 8
hrs of operating battery time I would be happy to pay the premium but sadly
it will not even take you through 1/4 of a working day!
Both too expensive. All those cores and ram is really just a waste on a
phone or tablet…overkill.
I would definitely get the surface pro, but only thing thats stopping me is
the fact it hasn’t got many apps.

Too much laggy game surface 2,3 and it isn`t worth.
Turns out that the surface pro 3 throttles under load so the pro 2 is still
better.
Until they restore the original start menu windows is in beta for me.
Uhh about the surface 2 not being able to do gaming…. Well it can play
Titanfall battlefield batman ghost etc…..
