Bill Gates is a legend and I have huge respect for him. Bill Gates should think seriously now of coming back to Microsoft again, Microsoft needs him more now than anytime in recent past, simply because the company is facing strong rivals. I’m sure with a legend like Bill Gates and his great imagination Microsoft can continue to dominate the market in the future too.
Bill Gates can take Microsoft to new level. All Microsoft employees should request him to come back and he should oblige them.

I may hate PC’s. But TBH, Windows 8 amazes me with its touchscreen technology. Something I’m hoping Apple will do with their Macs someday.

i agree with you 100%, the professional feeling to windows is what parts the two companies, they need a professionalized version of windows 8, but it will just be windows 7 anyway :/
They have a good standing so far with production value and representation on a professional standard, but i see that slowing, i hate iOS, like linux but love windows, It’s just unfortunate that they have to switch ways to get a better market value, Windows 8 needs to stay on phones, tablets & laptops, let pc shine!

95 was the best, but like Windows XP, it’s old and outdated. Unlike XP though it’s unsupported (Windows XP has until next year) and almost nobody uses it in the real world anymore.
I understand and thank you for your explanation but, what I meant was that Microsoft should not copy Apple in terms of marketing structure. What works for Apple would not necessarily work for Microsoft. They [MS] should not make everything look like Apple such as user interface and user experience. I’m an architect and I cannot use a fancy nancy desktop like Apple’s I need a professional user interface such as windows 7. I don’t need any of the BS just a plain place where my programs run.
