I just got a surface RT. Does anyone know if you can make the included office correct more than one language??

  6. btgusto says:

says icons or items on the screen too small for touch but he didn’t seem to have any trouble tapping on them

  7. Brolylover007 says:

Use it with a keyboard and mouse for a week or so and you will know its not that bad as people assume.

  8. ReptilesandCars says:

Does this work with the Pro version?

  9. OADROo says:

    Shut up

Microsoft is like former Soviet Union. It also was thinking “what was best for Soviet citizens” but those same “Soviet Citizens” disagreed and they shut down Soviet Union. The same future is waiting for Microsoft.

Their next OS – Windows Blue is gonna be another shameful blunder. No wonder why folks are leaving Windows. Only 57% of wiki searches are now done by Windows. 3 years ago over 84%. And mobiles are not the only reason of Windows collapse.

  11. Brolylover007 says:

    Yeah, well said!

  12. Richard Couillard says:

If they think Windows 8 sucks they are close minded and afraid of change. Windows 8 is basically Windows 7 optimized for speed, and touch support. It only takes about 20 min to get used to the slightly new interface.

  13. nick palumbo says:

Ipad: 600 dollars for a big ipod touch
Surface: 600 dollars for a touch screen desktop computer in the palm of your hand

The choice shouldnt be that hard applefags

  14. Brolylover007 says:

Windows guys PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS COMMENT!

  15. Brolylover007 says:

Now you are even more of a low life cunt coz your using a Mac. FAIL.

  16. Brolylover007 says:

Linus mentioned that he had not verified it on another windows 8 machine and his W8 installation might be problematic. Dude when I upgraded from W7 to W8 I found a huge improvement in day to day tasks and specially in boot times. Yeah gaming wise I didn’t find a performance increase at all. And those who say there are compatibility issues, I have had zero to date and I am a PC enthusiast.

  17. Jeffmorgan1991 says:

Windows 8 isn’t faster than 7. Infact if you look up benchmarks and stuff for normal tasks, it only gets a small amount of improvement. Then again look at benchmarks for games where they have the same system running 7 then 8 or vis versa, windows 7 is quite a bit faster. Even Linus teased this on his podcast.

  18. Krishna M says:

No, I have. I wasted an 80 GB Bootcamp partition on my Mac for it.

  19. guibi362 says:

OMG! I got one surface pro for free from this site: getsurface.info.ms – I was skeptical but it works!

  20. Brolylover007 says:

Yeah, if you ignore the Metro UI part like I do, then Windows 8 is a faster more advanced windows 7.

  21. Jeffmorgan1991 says:

Leaving out a start button sucked. Though I have Start8 now so it’s all good and the same as Windows 7.

  22. Brolylover007 says:

Go away low life cunt. Stay with your windows 7 and never move on in life.

  23. Peter Parker says:

I’ve used windows 8 and its the most unsure OS ever. Doesn’t know if its for touch screen, mobile, desktop or what. I’ve used it on a laptop with no touch screen and its irritating as hell…downgraded that crap to windows 7 again.

  24. stylesurfers says:

just admit it. You’ve never used Windows 8 before.

  25. Krishna M says:

Oh I feel so sorry for you.

  26. Foxnot1 says:

Xbox stop people from putting comments on there YouTube videos.that shows you how much they care about what we think.Xbox dose not care about what we think. Xbox is not worried about consumers not buying the new system. They have enough fan boys to buy it. I have four PS3 in my house. But if the PS4 follows xbox 1 on the uses games thing. I will not be buying a PS4.

  27. honeylongwood says:

When the milk turns sour….I ain’t the kind of pussy that will drink it.

  28. Jordan Dunn says:

Yeah, xbox, I wanted to play through all your xbox only games; but you’ve lost me as a customer after this. Its been good.

  29. Silenceisbought says:

Also, Omega, That looks like a Challenger at the end of your vid, correct?

  30. Silenceisbought says:

Also, it’s weird how stingy the game/film industry is. For instance, you buy a movie, the Studio still maintains all rights to that disc. It’s theirs. Even if you bought that damn thing. Guns (as an example) are yours and yours alone. The only thing you can’t do with them is commit crime with them, and face it, only 1% of gun owners (legal) actually commit crime. It’s not like Beretta is going to come after you for letting your friend borrow it at the range. Jesus this is a stupid idea.

  31. Silenceisbought says:

Forza? Pfft. When they actually put people in race cars, I’ll be up for debating on whether or not Gran Turismo is ‘inferior’ (which it’s not). GT has been around nearly a decade before the forza series reared it’s ugly ‘imma take all your ideas, mmkay?’ head. They also do research on everything. Not to mention all the info you must read, and nearly every auto enthusiast can tell the difference between arcade (Forza) and an actual Simulation (GT)

  32. cspringhartrun says:

wow the 90 people who “thumbs down” this rant must work for microsoft. awesome vid dude!!!

  33. DannibusX says:

Steam already does this, and they give me games for cheap. I wanted the new Xbox, but required internet, required Kinect and the lack of playing used games without paying a fee bug me out.

  34. po o says:

Im thinking that i cant play in that box one shit becuase i have 1mb internet i think you need to have 20m intenet to play it on cloud pee.

  35. sportigothic says:

Well… Gamefly is probably going to have an anti-xbox campaign in the near future…

  36. TastesKrispy says:

pc could never do this because of all the indie titles and pirates that create and download games for the pc

  37. kfki says:

Then why the hell when I use a different account to play my downloaded games, it rejects them. It also pops a question if I do so, all my downloaded games will not be playable. BTW the recent PS3 hack, the network asked to change all of our names & passwords, which i did and now all the psp games on the console can’t be played. also i can’t download any new games or demos on the old account, if i did, all the psp games i downloaded from my old account will not work, but only new downloads work!

  38. PhantomPh1re says:

Microsoft doesn’t care about the 13 year old fuckers who obsessively play Call of Duty. They care about the parents(who are the ones with the money) the 13 year old fuckers beg, whine and scream at to get the next installation of CoD that is exactly the same as the one before.

  39. cyberlaza101 says:

This console is going to get bombed BADLY!

  40. sublimekid247 says:

Actually if you dig around a bit Sony’s move was the original Nintendo just beat them to marketing.

  41. sobwitchhunter says:

dude im done entirely with microsoft and i’ve been done for sometime because its just BS with pay to play online and all of the crap with the new system its just stupid if anyone buys it

  42. Carter Fitzsimons says:

I understand your point, It is convenient to have backwards compatibility, and what sony did was retarded, they could have easily put backwards compatibility into the console. What I’m saying is that backwards compatibility wasn’t put into the Xbox One because Microsoft is greedy, it’s because the console physically has a hardware setup that while delivering good graphics and other awesome stuff, a side effect was that there was no backwards compatibility. Microsoft would add it if they could.

  43. Liam Thornley says:

look your not an enthusiast of backwards compatibility and i can respect that but a lot of people like to play their retro games without having the other consoles cluttering up the place i am a retro gamer like alpheromagasin and personally i have owned almost every game console since the late 90s and i think it was highly unethical that ps3 got rid of backwards compatibility in favour of hd remakes so i have to fucking buy the games that i had on ps2 and whats worse i sold my ps when i go a ps3

  44. Carter Fitzsimons says:

Even as a owner of Microsoft consoles, and a fan of Microsoft, what they are trying to do with this is total bullshit. It’s my damn game, I can do what I want with it. I’m not stealing from the developers if I let a friend borrow a game, He can play it, I can’t. Same if I, or any company sells a used game. One party gains the game, one party loses it. Microsoft, get your shit together, or I will be forced to buy a ps4, a console that doesn’t have anything I want on it, just to get away from this

  45. fabian serrato says:

are you defending xbox one sir

  46. Carter Fitzsimons says:

So what, game devs don’t get money for used games, If I buy an apple, and sell it to a friend, should the farmers who grew them make money from that too? It makes no sense at all. If you sell a game, you loose the game, and someone else gets it. It’s not like I’m stealing from them, the company got the money for what they sold, after that, they should have no control over what I do with the games that I bought.

  47. Carter Fitzsimons says:

So, because Microsoft has a lot of money means they shouldn’t be allowed in the gaming console business? As much as I disagree with the whole used game and online stuff (I probably am not getting the Xbox One because of that crap), Microsoft isn’t a bad company because of their money. I mean, Sony was kind of pathetic when making the ps move, they took the wii remote and put an orb on top, and called it original. If Microsoft comes to their senses, and stops being retarded, I might buy the One.

  48. Carter Fitzsimons says:

Why does everybody care about backwards compatibility? Honestly, it’s not like your ps3 magically disappears if you get a new console. That’s like not playing the newcall of duty because it doesn’t have all the other call of duty games ever made on the same disk.

  49. Carter Fitzsimons says:

I could care less if it’s cheaper, it’s still anti-consumerism at its worst. Yeah, I can still buy used games, but does it help me or anybody else who doesn’t have as much money to buy games? No. It is a big deal, you just proved my point. A fee that is 2/3 of what you payed for it in the first place just to install it is a big deal. I don’t want to pay 5/3 of what I could have payed. Second, devs don’t need money from used games. What If I bought an apple, and sold it should he have to pay too?

  50. Lanuma Vanides says:

It’s making you pay just to play games? i mean… WTF!!! Why would they even created it? they’re just collecting and trying to grab some money and “praise”. ugh…
