@W O’Neal It is the SAME OS, how would it not work on 12 inch if Windows 8
    does?

    I still prefer the iPad

Adjusting the screen angle or solidly attaching the keyboard is a hassle,
the typing experience is still inferior and the keyboard adds thickness,
weight and is sold separately and costs a lot.

Again, what’s the point of having one of these instead of a laptop? Just to
have the “coolness” of a tablet in a thicker, heavier form factor with less
battery life and the possibility of using the not so touch friendly
    desktop?

looks like a nice tablet-pc. Though I am not getting one since I am
pro-Apple, still looks nice. But it raises a question; is microsoft going
to stick with only windows 8 and drop RT or not? Cant see RT on a bigger
screen since it has more drawbacks than good.

no compromises? i can think of a few…
    no LTE/4G.
    no fingerprint scanner
no port for the digitiser pen to slot into. the tab on the TypeCover doesnt
    count.
    no GPU update.

The Surface team has now had 3. THREE generations to get their stuff
together and put all these in. THREE generations.

no point in having a portable “productive” laptop replacement if you are
confined to where there is Wi-Fi coverage ie. a building. no LTE/4G limits
WHERE you can be productive. i hope the next generation will have 4G/LTE.
