  1. Ken Kirtland says:

Cant believe someone made this video. The Surface Pro 2 doesnt deserve this
degrading comparison. this is a toy vs a machine. needs to be compared to
high end ultrabooks, macbook airs and pros. It was disgusting listening to
    the iPad being defended tbh

  2. Alperen Yıldız says:

Do a Surface Pro vs MacBook air and Surface 2 vs iPad Air

  3. Casey lawton says:

Yeah I also agree with this being a strange comparison. Yes the surface pro
has a tablet form factor but its a PC its not a mobile opporating system.
They’re meant to serve different purposes. I know you already did it but I
would have stuck with the surface vs ipad not the surface pro.

  4. Darkion Avey says:

You are comparing a computer to a tablet.

  5. David Lukšić says:

06:53 what the fuck did you just say? iOS has been developed for longer
period of time? Has more apps? Really? What about .exe apps? there’s like
    billions..

  6. vazup says:

Did you just compared the count of apps and didnt mention about having
millions of programs on the windows?

  7. donofman says:

This is no comparison……. Its like comparing a BB gun to a real Gun.

The Surface wins just because it can run real software and run it well.

  8. Luis Vilella says:

i dont understand why people complain about the surface pro 2’s weight, I
like it being that heavy, it makes it feel good quality, not like a piece
    of plastic

  9. ComputerGuy8181 says:

Surface pro 2 super heavy? It’s 2 fucking pounds!

  10. John Velasco says:

$700 for the 64GB iPad Air or $900 for the 64GB Surface Pro 2. Which one
would you go with? Here’s my comparison.

  11. Anthony Whyte says:

More apps on ios than proper windows?! Beyond bullshit it can use anything
from the past decades of windows so that’s just nonsense.

  12. Jackie Rolanta says:

I don’t really get the point of this video. The Surface 2 is what is
competing with the iPad not the surface pro 2. The pro is for
professionals, and it’s a full blown system inside of a tablet form factor.
It’s to get real work done, and like i said it has an entire PC inside of
it. It’s a tablet PC, and when you know it for that, it’s not bulky or
heavy at all. The Surface pro 2 is a dream device for the professional,
exceptionally great for the graphic artist. These are two totally different
markets, that’s why i don’t even see the point in comparing them. The iPad
is the general consumer market, the Pro is the professional market. If you
are in the Pro market, check out the Surface, it’s one hell of a
powerhouse. One of the best devices i’ve ever used. If you are just looking
for an all around great content consumption and semi workflow tablet iPad
is great for you. For those looking to do heavy real work, can’t go wrong
    with the Surface.

  13. Habesha4life says:

You can’t compare an iPad with the Surface pro 2……….. they are two
completely different devices lol. SP2 can replace a laptop, the iPad can
    not….

  14. trey9386 says:

    seriously dont understand these comments.

  15. Grant Barker says:

If you love your Windows PC at home and wish you could take it everywhere
with you, you can. It’s called a Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

  16. Kitler McMeow says:

Awesome video!!!, please do a comparison between a golden retriever and
toaster, you seem qualified enough to do it.
Btw try not to show your face, and a voice distorter might help as
well…couldn’t bear to watch an entire minute of this :(

  17. TheDrewSaga says:

I am not going to defend the Surface Pro tablet or anything since I am
saving up for at least a 256 GB edition of the 2nd gen, but I never
understood why people enjoy tablets with their stricter limitations than a
full Windows, Apple’s OSX, or Linux computers, I get if it’s $200 or less
and you need something to connect the internet too and don’t need much
else, but even Android, or iOS is very limited with what I can do.

  18. Brandon C says:

Besides the fact that your accent makes it impossible to hear anything from
your f****** mouth I heard only bullshit. This comparison makes no fucking
sense. Holy fuck you are an apple fanboy. You are comparing a machine and a
toy. You dumb fucking idiot go back to reviewing phones because when it
comes to real technology, a fucking retarded gorilla could do better. I am
going to just flag you for every possible thing and dislike all videos.

  19. Ignotas Asadauskas says:

    dat autofocus…. turn it off!!!!!!!1!!!1

  20. Ronnie Dockery says:

It’s not even worth comparing. You’re looking at a blown up iPhone vs an
    ultrabook.

  21. Pluck my Feathers says:

This video shouldn’t have been made. iPads are aimed at media consumers who
have too much money. Surface tablets are mainly for professional use,
whether for businesses or in the workplace.

  22. J.M. Martinson says:

The Surface Pro 2 is a real desktop computer – the iPad Air isn’t. Once you
get past the display, weight, etc. issues, it’s apples and oranges. There
is no comparison. Even being that Microsoft is releasing Office for iPad,
it’s still a watered-down productivity experience compared to the desktop
    experience of Surface Pro 2.

If you’re into consuming more media than creating and productivity, the
iPad Air is probably best, with the Retina display and lightness. For
creating media and productivity, the Surface pro 2 in the best tablet in
    the game.

  23. znmo0nlight says:

Surface pro 2 destroys the ipad air. The surface pro 2 is closer to what
tablets were originally intended to do and what they were like when
Microsoft first introduced them in 2001.

  24. Darius Sudberry says:

Microsoft is calling, they said they want to hire you to further embarrass
    apple.

  25. Snotnarok says:

Surface Pro 2 all the way, just got one and the wacom pen is great, I’ve
been a wacom user for years from graphire 2,4, intous and the Cintiq 12WX,
    the surface is freaking great.
Some say 1000 is a lot to spend on it, I can say easily that’s wrong solely
based on Wacoms Cintiq line being 1000 alone and that requires a PC to use
and they are in no way portable. Wacoms own portable tablet is comparable
to the surface, slightly larger and with a better pen but costs $2,000 and
doesn’t come with a keyboard on top of that.
Surface is probably the cheapest, best option for artists who want to paint
    on the screen.

  26. Intellect Digest says:

    interesting tab

  27. Laurence Cutler says:

How hot does the surface pro 2 get compared to the Sony?

  28. Game Leader says:

does someone know if there is goingt o be a surface pro 3 this year?

  29. Sam D'Cruz says:

i hate the gap on the sony when u turn it into tablet mode. it seems poorly
designed and badly finished off… should have been designed to fold flat
    somehow.

  30. whtukall says:

    I’ll go with VAIO Flip 13 i7

  31. Jerry Fahrni says:

I have a running list of Windows 8 tablets that I would like to own. Both
of these machines are on that list.

  32. mr4y says:

The problem with Photoshop is that it was made to use wacom drivers. If you
have a Monoprice, Huion, Tursion or similar graphics tablet that uses
UCLogic digitizers(better than ntrig and having a linear pressure curve, as
opposed to wacom’s pressure curve) you have to install Wacom drivers to
    have pressure in Photoshop.

  33. topografer says:

Very good and comparisong and mostly there is really a point to comparing
those two. Too bad for sony vaio department that closed up though

  34. sterlingman says:

    Great comparison video!!

  35. Joseph Ignaceous says:

The vid I watched b4 this was a comparison between the Surface Pro 2 256 gb
edition vs iPad Air, no joke. Glad to find an apples/apples review to
    balance that scale.

  36. thegamer500 says:

I have a surface so this review makes me want a Wacom digitizer

  37. Musa Afridi says:

Ma’am after scouring YouTube for months, you have to be the best, most
comprehensive review channel i have come across

  38. txmoney says:

Great comparison. The convertible option on the Flip, while being handy,
does not seem very usable considering the size and bulk. To me, the whole
idea behind a tablet pc is to provide the highest level of portability but
not compromising on productivity and power. The Surface Pro 2 is the
    perfect device.

  39. David Vega says:

Pretty cool smack-down. I have the Flip 13a and I really like it, but I’ll
be honest, I would have preferred a Wacom pen instead of N-trig but it gets
the job done. Hopefully you will still have the Flip on hand when the newer
Acer R7 comes out and compare them together. The R7 seems to be more closer
in hinge design to the Flip.

  40. Benjamin Rodriguez Reyes says:

Finally! N-trig implemented( limited to 256 levels of pressure and 32bit
    apps ) Wintab support!

  41. Electro says:

I got ipad air. Should i exchange it for surface pro 2. I use my ipad
    mainly to watch youtube videos

  42. mike cat says:

thanks for this review . .youve tested the sony vaio flip 13 and the asus
transformerbook tx300 . .which would you recommend for everyday use . .no
heavy photoshop or video editing. . just daily web browsing, listening to
    music watching movies. .etc. .

  43. Mario V says:

which one has better battery life

  44. Антон Павликов says:

In my opinion Pro 2 wins!

  45. Mohammad Sharofna says:

How could I get the Vaio paper on the surface ????
Please it is important to me

  46. Martin Lolov says:

Come on the MacBook Air is by far better than either of these two

  47. Dafele Arozal says:

It’ s kinna complicated if you wanna buy windows 8 i,ve i pick surface pro
2 it’ s easy to carry but sony vaio is big if i were carry it it:s very
    heavy so it’s kinna complicated

  48. Silmarieni says:

It’s a strange comparison I don’t think people interested in the Surface
Pro 2 will have an interest in the Flip 13 and vice versa due to very
    different sizes/fom factors.

  49. Daniel Bahrami says:

Wow you must have a lot of electronics in your house!
