nice, just a note i sure you already figured it out….there is a little
down arrow on the left side that takes you to all apps. (they changed that
in the 8.1 update..tok me a while to find it :)
Thanks a million, carefully following your methods, it finally worked. it
wont work except you run it as an administrator. thanks a lot.
Thanks so much man! I didn’t know what to do! I thought I was going to have
to pay for it! I really appreciate it!
Thanks very much. I got my 10 year old daughter an Asus Win 8 Touch Screen
Laptop for Christmas as there was always demand for our Win 7 ‘family’
Laptop so she can do her homework etc. but the Laptop didn’t come with any
MS Office Apps. We were all struggling to get used to Win 8 anyway, so I
decided to upgrade it to Win 8.1 first which is free and took a few hours
to complete, then next day I followed this. Even though I’m not yet
familiar with Win 8, after a few pause and rewind of the video in parts to
ensure I did things in the right sequence etc. it all worked fine. I’ll
now copy over my daughter’s previous Office Starter docs from our Win 7
Laptop to her Win 8 Laptop and she’ll be off and running. Thanks again.
Keep up the good work!
