thanks so much for the review because i just bought one but have NOT opened
it yet because im not so sure i really want it and now i know i dont
because even for the $230.00 that i paid which included the keyboard, i
dont think its worth it with the lag issue, especially since i completely
LOATH slow computers, think i will return and get a high powered and FAST
nice laptop like i originally planned on, any suggestions? Thanks
I’m really sorry you sold your RT before you had a chance to update to 8.1.
I see only two significant negatives in your review, the lag issue and
suitability to your type of work. Despite the fact that I agree with you on
the latter, it is a professional issue that might not apply to many
consumers. The former might have been solved by 8.1 and it would be nice to
know if that is the case. These things are on fire sale now at $200 but I
would not want to spend that for lag.
What about for $199? Would you consider it a good deal at that price?
Also does it lag uploading and watching videos which is basically what I’m
buying it for? Thanks
Alright I was looking at this device and I thought about getting it. I’m
only in high school so I’m not going to use it for extremely tough
projects.. And I might have a FEW games of it. Would it be recommended to
get it?
Quick question. Are you still using straight talk with nexus 4? I’m
considering buying nexus 5 and using with straight talk would like to know
if you are happy with the service?
The Transformer Book T300 is actually a 13.3 inch convertible laptop with
full windows 8. It has a battery in the laptop and keyboard dock. Although,
it has IVB and not Haswell, but it is the largest convertible to date.
I’ve owned the Transformer Prime (and reviewed it on this channel) and it
was a great device. Unfortunately I’m not really a tablet guy. What I mean
by that is that I jump from one task to the next on a regular basis and as
it stands right now mobile OS architectures slow me down considerably.
Android is the most advanced mobile OS on the market, but for me it’s
useful only in a phone form factor.
It depends what you’re doing on it. A 7 inch tablet is sufficient for apps
and web surfing. However if you want to get work done, as I tried to do on
the Surface, 10 inches feels cramped to me.

I wonder if the lag issue has been solved with the newer releases of the
RT? This one you are reviewing was purchased a year ago.

Thanks for the INFO.
A big advantage of the Surface range is they don’t come with bloatware. But
I’m still keeping the Yoga 2 in mind.
Yeah, Atom has really left a bad taste in my mouth. However, I’ve heard
really good things about Baytrail.
I like the fact that the Pro has the dock option. It’s compelling. As for a
14 inch Surface, you might just be better off with the Lenovo Yoga.

At first I thought so too. However the lag issue is widespread.
Thanks and thanks for watching!
great video
The lag problem sounds like a hardware fault mabey a touchscreen
I’m happy using a display as small as 7″ for long periods of time
