its not fake… the reveal for this the microsoft guy went out of his way to state that nothing in this was effects added in later. it all happened exactly as you see it.

You focus your eyes to infinity, so its zero eyestrain ( unlike monitors)
Currently its low resolution, streched across your periferal view, yet its a bit more concentrated towards the middle. In consumer version we expect 2 times the resolution.
