So basically, it’s the same as the old office, except your forced to use a crappy cloud system, can’t transfer licenses and it’s made for win 8, which no businesses want anyway? lol no thanks I’ll use open office which is free…

And still sold way more than Apple. In fact, Apple was heading towards shutting down. That is until Gates saved the company. No it wasn’t Steve Jobs, Gates purchased non-voting shares in order to save the company. The truth hurts, huh fanboy? Now go back under your bridge.

Well the start screen, just like the home screen on an iPod. You push the “start” button to return “home”. Well you do the same thing on an iPod. Also, they copied off of apple with tiles. The tiles are like the square icons in the springboard (homescreen) on an iPod.

  15. cjchico says:

ooooooooooh, so that’s why windows ME was so crappy! lol

what a load of crap, what good is a ‘cloud’ application that you pay for and CANT install, then CAN get help from Tech support, then CANT get help from Microsoft store!? No one knows the product, no one cares. The last person you speak to to cancel speaks perfect English all of a sudden and he even said he HEARS IT ALL THE TIME BUT COULDN’T COMMENT.. Back to GOOGLE :)

Some of them are, the more powerful ones are not. Thats why Windows RT for the surface included desktop.

Naahh, I got friends who game all day over the weekends and the summer. One already has Win8 and the other is getting ready to install it. The new OS is actually a great system if you can let go of the past and learn it. Works amazing for gaming.

  23. RamdomStickman says:

Your stuck in the past and scared of change. 2003 is losing support along with windows XP next year anyways.

I use to agree with you that the ribbon sucked but once I got use to it, I actually prefer it to the original menu system.

  24. RamdomStickman says:

Yes you can. All Win7 applications should work in Win8. Most XP and Vista ones will work as well. Also I can still use compatibility mode with Windows 8 Pro (I’m not sure about Win8 normal)
